1. Our principle
We only keep, sell or email contact details of people who agreed to be listed and contacted, or whose details we are otherwise lawfully entitled to use for this purpose. Every record carries its source and consent note.
2. How records enter the data bank
- Vendors, exhibitors and visitors who tick "share my details with partners" when they register.
- Organisers who tick the contact option when they submit an event.
- People who subscribe to the newsletter.
- Lists imported by our team where we confirmed consent or lawful rights.
- Records collected from public search tools without consent are kept for research only and are never sold or mailed.
3. Data packs
- Packs contain name, category, city, phone, email and website of consented records, chosen by type, category and city.
- Records marked unsubscribed are never included. Repeat orders return fresh records.
- A pack is a limited, non-transferable licence for lawful business communication.
4. What buyers must do
- Use the data only for genuine, lawful business communication about relevant products or events.
- Honour every opt-out immediately; each record includes an unsubscribe link you must pass on or respect.
- Do not resell, share publicly, publish, or upload the data to another list-broker.
- Follow the DPDP Act, 2023, the IT Act, 2000 and telecom/commercial-communication rules (including DND registers) when contacting people.
- Do not use the data for harassment, fraud or any unlawful or deceptive purpose.
5. Email campaigns
We send event announcements only to consented records. Every email shows who we are, why you received it and a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribed addresses are never mailed again.
6. Opt out or delete
Use the unsubscribe link in any email or in a data-pack row, or write to support@grouptakey.com with the email or phone you want removed. We act within 7 days. A suppression entry is kept so you are not added again.
7. Breach and audit
If we find misuse, we may block the account without refund, ask for deletion of the data and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
